Tim Lander earned his M.D. degree from the University of Minnesota, completed his otolaryngology training at the University of California, San Diego, and fulfilled his fellowship at Children’s Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota. Dr. Lander currently serves as the Associate Chief of Surgery at Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota and holds a clinical appointment at the University of Minnesota as an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Otolaryngology. A large part of Dr. Lander's Minnesota practice includes the surgical care of children with cleft lip and palate. He began working with CSI in 2004, joined the board in 2010, and has served as a surgical team leader on missions to Peru, Mexico, and Liberia.
